The Lawrence County Red Devils lost against the West Point Warriors back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lawrence County fell 65-54 to West Point.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zander Keepers, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Keepers set a new season high mark in steals with five. Jackson Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Lawrence County now has a losing record at 5-6. As for West Point, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence County will be home for the holidays to greet Hatton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West Point will be home for the holidays to greet Vinemont at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
