The Marbury Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Elmore County Panthers with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Marbury came out on top against Elmore County by a score of 50-38 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Marbury also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
DJ Graham was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Driver, who scored seven points along with 16 rebounds.
Marbury's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Elmore County, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Marbury will head out on the road to take on Chilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elmore County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Holtville at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Holtville is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
