There's no place like home for Bunnell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Notre Dame Prep Lancers with a sharp 13-3 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Bella Caramanica, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Elisa Cabrera, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Bunnell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in six consecutive games.

Bunnell now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Notre Dame Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Bunnell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Rocky Hill on the 2nd. Notre Dame Prep has also already played their next match (against Windham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
