Sidney won the last time they faced Alliance and Kale Kaiser did his part to make sure it happened again. The Red Raiders strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 62-48 with plenty of help from Kaiser, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last seven games he's played.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Espen Lanik, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Braeden Clarke, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

Sidney's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Alliance, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Sidney has already played their next matchup, a 53-31 win against Fillmore Central on the 29th. As for Alliance, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-72 victory against Broken Bow on the 30th.
