Butler were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They blew past Fern Creek 43-16. That result is just more of the same for Butler, who also won the last time these teams played.
Butler's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 30 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Fern Creek couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 30-0 heading into the break. Butler were outperformed in the second half 13-16 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The match pushed Fern Creek down to 1-3 and pulled Butler up to the reverse at 3-1.
Butler will look to defend their home turf next week against Doss at 7:00 PM. As for Fern Creek, they will face off against DeSales.
