The South Harrison Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-60 victory over Milan. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win South Harrison has posted yet this season.
Milan's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Bennett, who scored 16 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bennett has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Gonzalez, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
South Harrison's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Milan, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
South Harrison will be playing in front of their home fans against Gallatin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Milan, they will head out on the road to take on South Shelby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
