Brighton came out on top against Camden Central on Friday thanks in part to Laney Lawson's efforts. Lawson wasn't messing around, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. The pitching appearance was her third straight with two or fewer walks.

Lawson and Brighton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:30 p.m. on March 24th. The two teams are at an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long.
