Jordan Duke Dazzles in Classical Victory
Starting off the list is Classical's Jordan Duke, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Duke rushed for 74 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards.
The victory for Classical keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Duke and Classical will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pilgrim at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Matt Clements helped snap Johnston's three-game losing streak. Clements was dynamite on Friday, throwing for 232 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes.
Johnston's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers challenges Lincoln at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Pimental Came Up Big in Mt. Hope's 24-19 Victory
Mt. Hope took down Pilgrim on Friday, a win that might not have happened without Jerry Pimental's standout performance. Pilgrim had no answer to Pimental as he rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Mt. Hope pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Pimental and Mt. Hope will play host again on Thursday to welcome Chariho, where kickoff is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

Kaleb Rock Has Career Rushing Day
Kaleb Rock posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Saturday. He rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
The win for Ponaganset keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Rock and Ponaganset are on the road again on Saturday to play Hope/St. Patrick Academy at 12:00 p.m.
