The Northern Lebanon Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Hamburg Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamburg took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Northern Lebanon, who comes in off a win.
Northern Lebanon fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 28-19 win over Columbia on Thursday.
Northern Lebanon relied on the efforts of Myles Watson, who gained 113 total yards and a touchdown, and Moises Gonzalez, who rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
Meanwhile, Hamburg ended up a good deal behind Schuylkill Valley on Friday and lost 28-13.
Northern Lebanon's victory on Thursday bumped their record up to 4-4. Hamburg has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Northern Lebanon might still be hurting after the 48-27 loss they got from Hamburg when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Northern Lebanon, Xander Menapace (who rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 216 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
