Softball Recap: Skyridge Beats Hillcrest for Their Third Straight Win

Skyridge waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Hillcrest Huskies.

Maylee Walston was incredible, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Kaylie Power, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Skyridge was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Skyridge now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hillcrest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Skyridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-2 loss against Rigby on the 14th. As for Hillcrest, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-0 defeat against Bonneville on the 14th.
