It was a proper cat-fight when Columbia challenged Buchholz on Thursday. The Columbia Tigers blew past the Buchholz Bobcats 55-29. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

MARIAH COX was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of JOLENA GARDNER, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Buchholz still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Wyckoff, who posted 11 points.

The win got Columbia back to even at 8-8. As for Buchholz, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Columbia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-37 defeat against Gainesville on the 24th. Buchholz has also already played their next contest, a 71-64 victory against The Rock on the 24th.
