The Loretto Angels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Clint, falling 67-35. Loretto was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-18.
Aylin Garcia continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clint, scoring 27 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Garcia has scored at least a third of Clint's points. Chloe Arredondo was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Loretto's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Clint, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season.
Loretto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clint will head out on the road to face off against the Lobos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
