Northview came into Saturday's match looking for another win against Steele, but Joe Penano wouldn't allow it. Steele came out on top against Northview by a score of 3-1 on Saturday with plenty of help from Penano, who had 12 digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (21).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 24-26, 26-24.

Steele's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Penano, who had 11 digs and two aces. Aiden Workman was another key player, getting seven digs and two aces.

Penano wasn't the only good server: Steele was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive games.

Steele pushed their record up to 4-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Northview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Steele didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Scott on the 24th. As for Northview, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Adrian on the 31st.
