Having just played yesterday, the Mullins Auctioneers will head out on the road to face off against the Wando Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully Mullins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Wednesday.
After a string of four wins, Mullins' good fortune finally ran out. They took a 57-42 bruising from Darlington. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mullins has scored all season.
Mullins' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of JJ Davis, who scored 16 points, and Deyon Ford who scored 12 points. The game was Ford's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amir Lee, who scored four points.
Meanwhile, Wando didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against West Ashley last Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 51-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wando.
Mullins' defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Wando, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
