The Capital Golden Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 58-15 loss at the hands of Rocky Mountain. Capital has struggled against Rocky Mountain recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Rocky Mountain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Averee Osterhout, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Osterhout has scored all season. Cianna Legaspi was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Capital's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Rocky Mountain, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
Capital does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rocky Mountain also has no future games currently scheduled.
