The South Garner Titans will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. South Garner has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
South Garner scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 78-33 win over Corinth Holders at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
TJ Dixon went supernova for South Garner, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dixon has scored all season. Jayden Littles was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
South Garner's lineup was just a bit different on Wednesday as Isaiah Jordan got a bit more time on the court (17 vs. his season average of 7.6). Jordan made the most of the opportunity, scoring seven points along with two steals. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Clayton with a sharp 93-71 win. The win was familiar territory for Southeast Raleigh who now have three in a row.
South Garner has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Southeast Raleigh, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
Things could have been worse for South Garner, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 70-56 loss to Southeast Raleigh when the teams last played back in January.
