After two games on the road, the Cedar Grove Panthers are heading back home. They will take on the Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers on Thursday. Cedar Grove has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
While not quite a landslide, the game between Cedar Grove and Millburn on Monday was still a pretty decisive one as Cedar Grove wrapped it up with a 36-24 victory on the road.
Meanwhile, the contest between Newark and Caldwell on Tuesday was not a total blowout, but with Newark falling 59-48, it was darn close to turning into one.
Cedar Grove's win lifted them to 11-6 while Newark Collegiate Academy's loss dropped them down to 3-12. We'll see if Cedar Grove can repeat their recent success or if Newark bounces back and reverse their fortune.
