Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Mount Calm suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of Gholson by a score of 45-42.
Meanwhile, Aquilla pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 74-57 to Oglesby. Aquilla has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mount Calm has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Aquilla, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.
Mount Calm suffered a grim 55-31 defeat to Aquilla in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Mount Calm avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
