It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but GRACE Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders, sneaking past 13-11. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.
Audrey Lester was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. Caroline Gausman also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
GRACE Christian pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
