Howard Made His Presence Known in Walnut Grove's 20-17 Loss
Starting off the list is Walnut Grove's Emadd Howard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Howard rushed for 260 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Walnut Grove is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. They and Madison County are set to duel on Friday.

Payton Shaw was a major factor in Eastside's win over East Forsyth on Friday. Shaw turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 236 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes.
Eastside pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Shaw and Eastside will take on Cedar Shoals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
