After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willingboro, The Nottingham Northstars were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They strolled past Hamilton with points to spare, taking the game 22-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Nottingham also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Nottingham can attribute much of their success to Jamal Valentino, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
Nottingham's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Prince Oghogho and his two sacks.
Nottingham now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
Nottingham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hamilton will head out on the road to face off against Bordentown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Bordentown is ranked 274th, while Hamilton is ranked 278th).
