After two weeks on the road, Orting is heading back home. On Friday they will take on River Ridge at 7:00 PM. Orting are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
After soaring to 47 points the game before, Orting faltered in their match last Friday. They took a serious blow against Lakewood last Friday, falling 6-41. Orting were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Meanwhile, River Ridge put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Clover Park as the team secured a 56-21 victory. With River Ridge ahead 35-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
River Ridge's win lifted them to 4-3 while Orting's defeat dropped them down to 3-4. River Ridge's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Orting defensive front that amassed four sacks against Lakewood, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
