After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elida, Leipsic was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fort Jennings Musketeers, sneaking past 4-2. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Musketeers: they've now won five in a row.
Tommy Offenbacher made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Offenbacher was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
