Dunmore is 0-10 against Mid Valley since May of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Bucks will look to defend their home field against the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Dunmore 1.9, Mid Valley 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Mid Valley will be up against a hot Dunmore squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Bucks never let Honesdale get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. Considering the Bucks have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Max Forgione was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Stets, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Jackson Cady was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Dunmore was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Honesdale only posted a batting average of .125.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mid Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over Old Forge on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.
Nick Mills was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Anthony Balashaitis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Mid Valley pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Dunmore, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.
Monday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Dunmore has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .482. However, it's not like Mid Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .454. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Dunmore came up short against Mid Valley in their previous meeting on April 4th, falling 4-1. Will the Bucks have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
