A Season-Best Performance from Josh Takats Leads Perrysburg over Springfield
On Friday, Perrysburg got the W thanks in part to Josh Takats playing the best football he has all season. Takats rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 105 yards and a touchdown on perfect 9-for-9 passing. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
Springfield had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Takats it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Takats saw the Blue Devils), he threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

If history really does repeat itself, Kinnee might just drop another big game when he faces off against Perrysburg on Friday.
