Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newburyport). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 40-6 victory over the Lynn Classical Rams. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Clippers with their most commanding win of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Lynn Classical lost, don't look at Gianni McKay. Despite the final result, he rushed for 121 yards.

Newburyport has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Lynn Classical, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
