South Broward dropped down to 4-2 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt a 56-12 loss at the hands of the Dillard Panthers. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Bulldogs, who until this game were averaging 26.17 points allowed.

Moriah McCandies was South Broward's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Kalia Adams held things down on the boards with four rebounds. Bianca Torres took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

As for Dillard, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 34 points or more this season.

Amaya Montgomery was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.8% field goal percentage. Azaziah Evans Blake was another key player, putting up five points in addition to 12 rebounds and seven steals.

Coming up, South Broward will challenge Deerfield Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bucks have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Dillard, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 81-20 win against Boyd Anderson on the 5th.
