The Conway Springs Cardinals will head out on the road to take on the Trinity Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Conway Springs, who comes in off a win.
Conway Springs entered their tilt with Belle Plaine with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Conway Springs took down Belle Plaine 56-40 on Friday.
Conway Springs got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Macie Hartman out in front who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Morgan Koester was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 13 rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Trinity Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a rough 48-22 loss at the hands of Cheney.
Conway Springs now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Trinity Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.
Everything went Conway Springs' way against Trinity Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as Conway Springs made off with a 53-28 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Conway Springs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
