When it comes to explaining why Webster County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Riley Clevenger. Despite the final result, he scored 28 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Raydan Triplett, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Webster County's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-2. As for Tug Valley, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.
