Leading Castlewood to victory were Natalie Akin and Presley Knecht. Akin scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while Knecht scored 16 points along with three steals and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Knecht posted two or more blocks.
Castlewood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for DeSmet, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
