After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plainview, Gadsden City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Southside Panthers by a score of 38-26. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Gadsden City was led to victory by Jac'Keria Woods and Madison Tinker. Woods shot 42% from the field to rack up 16 points, while Tinker went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points and five boards. Those 16 points gave Woods a new career-high. Maliyah Kennon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Southside, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Coming up, Gadsden City will be home for the holidays to greet Pinson Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Southside, they will head out to challenge Jacksonville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
