Melba has gone  a perfect 4-0 against Vision recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Mustangs will welcome Vision  at 5:00  p.m. Melba has given up an average of 12  runs per game this season, but Monday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Melba is headed into Monday's   matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game  on Thursday. They came up short against  Wendell, falling  11-5.
  Olivia Atack was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kyla Harris, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  stolen base.
Meanwhile, Vision got the win against Idaho City  on Friday by a conclusive  13-4. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Vision.
 Johanna Wolfe and  Rayah Buster did most of the damage at the plate:  Wolfe  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Buster  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  three  stolen bases gave  Buster a new career-high.  Kylie Ford was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  RBI and one  run.
 Vision was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .389. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .364 or higher in three consecutive  contests.
 Melba's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Vision, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.
Monday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Melba has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .435. However, it's not like Vision struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .556. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Everything went Melba's way against Vision when the teams last played  two weeks ago, as Melba made off with  a  16-5 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success,  or do  Vision have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
