Baldwin is 0-10 against Walkerville since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Baldwin Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Walkerville Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Baldwin traveled a rocky road last season, and unfortunately for them the road hasn't gotten any smoother. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 57-31 walloping at the hands of Marion last Monday. Baldwin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Walkerville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 52-17 loss at the hands of Grand Traverse Academy. Walkerville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.
Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Walkerville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Baldwin came up short against Walkerville in their previous meeting back in January, falling 46-35. Can Baldwin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
