Bishop Kelley has gone a perfect 5-0 against Shawnee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Comets will head out to challenge Wolves at 5:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While Bishop Kelley's win against Edison wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Comets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Eagles on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for Bishop Kelley in their matchups with Edison: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Shawnee's offense. They came up short against Coweta on Tuesday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Shawnee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Coweta are ranked 19th).

Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Bishop Kelley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Everything went Bishop Kelley's way against Shawnee in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Bishop Kelley made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
