After losing to the Hillcrest Vikings the last time they met, the Booker T. Washington Warriors decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Booker T. Washington blew past Hillcrest 46-18 at home.
Cariyonna Banks was the offensive standout of the contest as she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamyia Bullins, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.
Booker T. Washington's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Booker T. Washington will challenge Melrose at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Melrose is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Hillcrest will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Osceola at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th.
