Durand is 8-2 against Hill-McCloy since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Durand Railroaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hill-McCloy Rams at 7:00 p.m. Durand will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Durand stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 80-38 win over Byron at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Durand has managed all season.
Durand's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jakob Nebo, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nebo has scored all season. Darius Aldrich was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Hill-McCloy posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against New Lothrop and snuck past 40-38.
Durand's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Hill-McCloy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.
Durand beat Hill-McCloy 67-54 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Does Durand have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hill-McCloy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
