Leading Pearsall to victory were Leon Martinez and Xavier Rendon. Martinez scored 18 points along with four steals, while Rendon scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which Rendon has scored at least 25% of Pearsall's points. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Rodriguez, who scored eight points.
Pleasanton has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Pearsall, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.
Pleasanton will head out on the road to face off against Floresville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Floresville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 499 points over their last seven matchups. As for Pearsall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Devine at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Devine is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
