LaCrosse is on a eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while the Leopards are on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The LaCrosse Leopards will take on the Lincoln Leopards at TBD on Monday. LaCrosse has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
LaCrosse stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Ness City at home to the tune of 75-31. Given LaCrosse's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Eagles are ranked 290th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Even though Lincoln has not done well against the Panthers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Lincoln managed a 45-40 victory over the Panthers.
LaCrosse is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Lincoln, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
