Baseball Recap: Arbor View Has No Trouble Against Green Valley

Arbor View made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Green Valley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Arbor View Aggies blew past the Green Valley Gators 12-2 on Friday. With that win, the Aggies brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Landon Blais was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Blais was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Arbor View let Colton Christman and J Alex Scaggs run wild. Christman went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Scaggs went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most RBI Christman has posted since back in March of 2024. Austin Long was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Arbor View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green Valley only posted a batting average of .286.

Arbor View's record now sits at 3-1. As for Green Valley, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Arbor View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Bishop Gorman on the 12th. As for Green Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-2 defeat against Centennial on the 11th.
