The Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 58-32 walloping at the hands of Pikes Peak Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cripple Creek-Victor in their matchups with Pikes Peak Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
Several Pioneers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Allyson Durham, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Savanna Kisseberth, who scored four points along with five steals.
Cripple Creek-Victor has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Pikes Peak Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
Cripple Creek-Victor will head out on the road to challenge Miami-Yoder at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pikes Peak Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hanover at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
