The Lynn Camp Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 52-21 loss at the hands of Tri-Cities Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lynn Camp has scored all season.
Tri-Cities Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christopher Mulombela led the charge by scoring ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Peters, who scored 12 points.
Lynn Camp's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-9. As for Tri-Cities Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynn Camp will take on Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Williamsburg is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Tri-Cities Christian and South-Doyle will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (South-Doyle is ranked 118th, while Tri-Cities Christian is ranked 131st).
