Baseball Recap: Boone Sets Scoring Season-High Against Olympia

Boone scored the most runs they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Olympia Titans, falling 16-6. The Braves just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Sam Johnson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Arroyo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Olympia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boone will challenge Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Boone has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Olympia, they will welcome Tournament Opponent on Friday.
