After only one run in their last game, Northwest made sure to put some runs up on the board against Smithton on Thursday. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 16-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won four matches by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Northwest's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Smithton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Northwest will take on Cole Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Smithton, they are taking a road trip to take on Santa Fe at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
