Lawrence County put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-3  win over the Victor Blue Devils. Despite the  victory, that was the fewest  runs Lawrence County has scored all season.
  Taylor Blevins spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Danielle Crum was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.  Addalyn Woods was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Lawrence County's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Victor, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence County will take on Wayne at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Lawrence County will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive. Victor will take on Brighton at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
