Baseball Recap: Enterprise Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Enterprise won the last time they faced Parowan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolves put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 9-2 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Parker Staheli made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Klint Bundy was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson Hiatt, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Enterprise is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Parowan, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Enterprise will have a chance to go back-to-back against Parowan: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
