After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kingman Academy, Bagdad was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Maryvale Prep Matador get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory. Considering the Sultans have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Tatum Jeans made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Bagdad got a massive performance out of Anna Williams, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Bria Moseley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
