Southampton Academy extended the longest winning streak in NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) this week by beating Word of God Christian Academy, 40-34. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Hobgood Academy and Rocky Mount Academy played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Hobgood Academy eventually emerging with a 26-25 victory.
Arendell Parrott Academy's Andrew Davenport and Nate Staskelunas have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Davenport has thrown for 975 yards this season, while Staskelunas, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 31 catches for 754 yards. The Raiders' G Mullins leads the league in rushing yards with 1743.
