Valley is 4-0 against Armijo since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Valley Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Armijo Royals at 6:30 p.m. Valley will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Valley's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Fairfield 7-0. The Vikings' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five contests.

Their offense was hitting Fairfield from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Brian Saldana led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Armijo started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Johnson. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Valley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-1-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those eight games. As for Armijo, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

Valley beat Armijo 2-0 in their previous meeting on January 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Valley since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
