Even though the Gulliver Prep Raiders scored an imposing 68 points on Saturday, the True North Classical Academy Titans still came out on top. True North Classical Academy walked away with  a   75-68  victory over Gulliver Prep. The score was all tied up  37-37 at the break, but True North Classical Academy was the  better team in the second half.
 True North Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman  Jasen Lopez, who  scored 34 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals. The  matchup was  Lopez's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayden Simmons, who  scored eight points along with ten  rebounds and six  blocks.
 Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Amare Sanders, who  scored 18 points along with eight  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Sanders has scored all season.  Jacob Marquez was another key contributor,  scoring 16 points along with five  rebounds.
 True North Classical Academy's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 2-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.6 points per game. As for Gulliver Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
 True North Classical Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Archbishop Carroll at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Archbishop Carroll has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Gulliver Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against TERRA Environmental at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Averaging 64.8 so far this season, TERRA Environmental's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Gulliver Prep better be ready for a challenge.
