Somerset Academy - Canyons found their leader in underclassman Alana Pinnock, who dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 steals. The matchup was Pinnock's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alanna Fabrini, who scored 15 points.
Somerset Academy - Canyons' victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Palm Beach Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerset Academy - Canyons will face off against King's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Beach Central is on the road again on Thursday and play against Forest Hill at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. Forest Hill is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
